Music of my Heart

We all have things that we are passionate about and that bring us smiles. Whether it be our family, our hobbies, our jobs, etc. There is one passion of mine that makes me filled with joy no matter what kind of day I may be having. It is a passion of mine that truly brings God’s presence near to me and reminds me He is with me no matter what! The song “Old Church Choir” by Zach Williams describes my passion so well. It is my passion for Christian music! I know I have mentioned this before, but it is this music that has got me through sooooo much in my life! It is this music that God spoke to me through during very difficult times and kept me on my feet and strong. It is this music that makes my drives to work each morning  peaceful and start my day with God in my heart. It is these songs that make my evenings calm and feel close to God. God Of All My Days

When Lent began this year, I really sat and thought about something special I could do to bring me closer to God and lead me to some time reflecting on Him each day. When Asher's journey began, my focus was truly on God and praying for Asher. It was a blessing to be able to spend time each day with Him in prayer and through my blog posts. For it was my blog that truly kept me strong.  After Asher arrived home, I continued to pray and praise God daily. I tried so hard to keep up with the blog, but as we all know, life gets busy and my focus was keeping Asher safe and healthy and being a stay at home mom to my two boys. So time for the blog just wasn't there. But there was one thing that I never could let go and never can let go... one thing that truly connects me to God..... praising God through Christian music.
